The TCI (Temperament and Character Inventory) is a psychological assessment that scientifically analyzes an individual’s temperament and character. It helps people gain deeper self-understanding as well as insight into their behavioral patterns and emotional responses in relationships with others.
Unlike many other personality tests, the TCI has the distinct advantage of measuring temperament and character separately.
[ What You Can Learn Through TCI ]
- Inborn Temperament: Genetically and biologically based response tendencies
(e.g., emotional sensitivity, harm avoidance, social curiosity) - Developed Character: Personality traits shaped through life experiences
(e.g., self-acceptance, goal orientation, cooperativeness) - Stress and emotional response patterns
- Behavioral patterns in relationships and conflict situations
- Enhanced self-understanding and motivation for personal change
