The PAT-2 is a scientifically developed assessment that measures parenting attitudes,
helps identify strengths and areas that may need adjustment, and provides guidance toward healthier parenting practices.
This test evaluates how parents relate to their children across eight key factors:
supportive expression, rational explanation, achievement pressure, interference, punishment, supervision, excessive expectations, and inconsistency.
It allows parents to understand their level in each of these areas.
[Why This Assessment Is Special]
- Examines both excessive and insufficient parenting attitudes
By identifying areas that may be overly strict or too lenient, this test helps parents find a healthier balance in their parenting approach. - Provides practical guidance for appropriate parenting methods
Rather than simply presenting results, the PAT-2 offers interpretations and actionable directions that can be applied to everyday parenting. - A tool for reflection and growth
This is a parenting coaching assessment designed to help parents reflect on their own parenting attitudes and make thoughtful adjustments.
